Tournament director Derek Ballinger said that the tournament, sponsored by Consortium Private Wealth and played under lights on a balmy evening, was a great success.
Teams made up of players from Coughlin Park, Horsham Sunnyside, Horsham Golf, Natimuk, Goroke and Horsham City played three games of 10 ends to decide the evening tournament’s winners.
At the end of the night, two teams had won a total of three games.
The eventual winners were the Horsham City combination of Stewart Landwehr (skip), Jack Shearwood and Michael Turner, who finished the tournament with a total of 85 points.
Players from Coughlin Park, Horsham Sunnyside, Horsham Golf, Natimuk, Goroke and Horsham City played three games of 10 ends to decide the winners.
The event’s runner-up team was the Coughlin Park side of Vince Antonucci (s), Graeme Scobie and Gwen Antonucci, after they finished up with 2½ wins and 71 points.
