The Warriors, who stepped into Horsham Cricket Association competition this year, are out of finals contention, but came to the crease on Saturday eager to finish the season on a high note.
In the first day of the final two-day match of the season, West Wimmera went through their 75 overs to finish at 7-311.
The score easily eclipsed their previous best innings of 215, which they posted in round 14 against Horsham Saints.
The Warriors won the toss and elected to bat at Horsham City Oval on Saturday, but the innings got off to a shaky start when opener Michael Preston was dismissed for a single run.
However the momentum changed when co-captain Mitchell Dahlenburg took to the crease.
After posting his highest score of the season in the previous round with 71, Dahlenburg upped the ante and smashed 153 on Saturday.
He combined with an also impressive Adrian King, 91, to steer the side to a solid position.
The Warriors were at 1-214 when Jung's Josh Leith claimed the wicket of King.
Leith dismissed Dahlenburg's fellow partners at the crease in Tim Braendler, 17, and Josh Lees, 3, in succession before Dahlenburg was run out by Angus Adams.
Jake McLean and Simon Mock also chipped in with wickets for the Tigers, who will need to put together a hefty score on day two if they are any chance at claiming the win.
Meanwhile, three half-centuries helped Horsham Saints to a total of 234 in their two-day match against Laharum at Coughlin Park.
The Saints won the toss and went into bat, with opener Corey Smith getting the side off to a solid start with 56.
Jackson Davidson, 62, and Tim Bell, 59, were also impressive with the bat.
Bradley Brotherton did most of the damage with the ball for Laharum, taking 4-51 in his 14 overs, which included the wickets of Smith and Bell.
Laharum was 1-3 at the close of play, with Saint Jonothan Carroll taking the early wicket of Sean Wouters.
In the final match of the round, Rup-Minyip had begun chasing down Homers' total of 212 as their match wrapped on day one.
Adam Atwood, 77, top-scored for Homers at Sunnyside Recreation Reserve, with captain Jarred Combe chipping in with a handy 34.
Mark Mbofana and Jordan Weidemann each claimed three wickets for Rup-Minyip as they bowled Homers out with about 15 overs to spare.
Rup-Minyip are 1-25 in reply after 11 overs.
