Two SES crews were called to the residential area at 7.50pm, where a tree came down as wind gusts reached nearly 60 kilometres an hour. Wind speeds peaked at 80 at 12.36am on Monday.
"The tree split half onto a nature strip and half onto a road," a spokeswoman said.
It took the crews less than half an hour to clear up the incident. As of 4.53 on Monday morning, the warning has been cancelled for the Wimmera.
It followed the strong winds bringing down a tree on St Arnaud-Charlton road at St Arnaud earlier in the hour.
Elsewhere, the Stawell SES unit responded to two calls for assistance over the past 12 hours and Ararat three.
