Homers were the heavy favourites coming into the contest, but Colts had their best side for the year and put up a serious fight.
On a synthetic wicket and with a quick outfield at Dudley Cornell Park, Homers batted first and made 232.
Two Hoppers from different generations were the key men for Homers, with opener Ash making 53 and youngster Jett scoring a convincing 47.
In reply, Colts opener Colin Flack put together a stellar partnership with first drop Damiano Boddie to give them a chance.
Both made 40 runs each and guided the side to 2-108 after 20 overs. But that was as tense as the contest would get, with Homers bowlers getting on top.
Wickets started falling with regularity and Colts finished all out for 185.
Homers captain Bayley Burke was simply overjoyed after the match.
"I'm pretty ecstatic to be honest - to get this in my first year as captain, it's just a bit surreal at the moment," Burke said.
"I will admit I did get a bit worried at one stage... we were struggling to get them. But the team pulled together when we needed it, and I couldn't ask for a better performance."
Burke himself was critical to the win with four wickets and 21 runs. But he was quick to heap the praise on his teammates.
"Ash Hopper was amazing, he's been outstanding all year," Burke said.
"Brenton Hallam, Sam Rintoule, Jett Hopper, Pete Drummond... Just everyone did what they had to do, it was unbelievable to be honest.
"I knew we were going to have a strong side this year, with the young guys coming through and a few old blokes coming back to play for us. It's been brilliant, and an absolute pleasure."
