The 15-year-old will line up in her age grade's 100-metre and 200-metre breaststroke in her first singles events at national level.
St Brigid's College student Deacon Briggs will also travel to the meet in Adelaide to compete in the boys' 14 years 100-metre breaststroke.
Eldridge said she is looking forward to the challenge.
"I'm a bit nervous, but I'm really excited for it because I've been training for ages and it's come up really quickly," she said.
The Warracknabeal swimmer trained six days a week in preparation - often alone.
"I'm pretty proud of myself because I'm from a small country town and I do a lot by myself and we have to travel a lot," she said
"My goals are to do personal bests in my 100m and 200m breaststroke and aim for the top 20 in Australia for my age group."
The week-long national meet starts on April 15.
