The event featured a range of activities, food and drink stands, rides and music. Activities included a photo booth, temporary tattooist, obstacle course, mechanical bull and pop-up beauty salon.
Horsham Rural City Council youth engagement and planning officer Annie Mintern said the event was specifically designed for Wimmera residents aged between 12 and 25.
"We had a lot of registrations prior to the event and expect more than 150 people to attend," she said.
"The aim of the event is to give young people in the region something to do. We tried to make it youth friendly in all aspects, and make it appeal to people aged 12 to 25," she said.
Musical entertainment was provided throughout the festival, including a local talent showcase. The event also featured performances from former Richard Morris Scholarship winner Kessia Peterson and DJ Brynny from Melbourne.
The festival was held to coincide with Victorian Youth Week, which ran from April 5 to 14. The week aims to give young people an opportunity to express their ideas and views, and create social activities and events.
