Jenny Close, spokeswoman for the CFA, said the fire is still burning on a patch of land near Coleraine-Edenhope Road and Johnsons Road, and began from a burn off which became out of control at 1pm.
"Three firefighting aircraft and a few of the truck have been released from the scene, but those that are still there will probably be out there for a while," she said.
"Crews brought the blaze under control at 4.15pm, and so far it has burnt through 30 hectares. No properties were under threat as the fire is burning in scrub and bush."
Meanwhile, Country Fire Authority crews from across the Wimmera and Northern Grampians were called to two campfires at Deep Lead and Bellfield on Monday afternoon.
CFA spokeswoman Jenny Close said crews from Dadswells Bridge, Glenorchy and Stawell brought the Deep Lead fire, at Flat Rock campground, under control at 1.37 pm.
"That fire is now extinguished and the crews are inspecting other campsites in the area," she said.
Ms Close said four vehicles then extinguished the Bellfield campfire, near the intersection of Silverband and Grampians Roads, at 1.54 pm.
Monday's incidents follow the CFA issuing an emergency warning to Harrow residents on Sunday, after a grass fire on Nhill-Harrow Road around 4pm.
Ms Close said the warning was rescinded after 10 minutes as 10 firetrucks brought the blaze under control.
She said the blaze burnt through more than 50 hectares of scrub.
