Tickner said it was a pleasure to help keep her beloved club running as well as it could.
"You want to take pride in your club, at what you represent to other clubs in the community," Tickner said.
"I feel a bit embarrassed because I don't do near what other people do, because other people are just amazing in what they do.
"But I'm just happy to help out where I can."
Tickner's main duties are in the canteen, where she enjoys the company of her fellow volunteers and keeping in touch with the community.
"My main role now is the afternoon tea - and I just go and help out in the canteen whenever I can," Tickner said.
"It is work, but we love it. While you're doing all that you're having chats with everybody, and as the years go on you get to know a few of the opposition faces as well. It's just like a big family really."
Tickner started being active at the club when her sons Ross and Mark started playing junior football.
Ross and Mark have since become lifelong Rupanyup players, and Kerri a permanent volunteer.
"I've probably been volunteering there heavily for 20-plus years I suppose," Tickner said.
"You just do it. Club volunteers can be a bit few and far between at times, so you can't just sit back and do nothing.
"If there are too few not helping it makes it a lot harder for the ones that do. Many hands make light work, so I just get up and help where I can. I think that's what everyone should do."
