Noah has been at the Swifts for a short period of time, but during his involvement he has turned into a great role model for younger players and his peers.

Noah's work rate is first class; he wants to learn and improve his football. This is displayed by having great skills with both sides of his body. His best attributes is that he is always prepared to do extra duties around the club and he always takes on board advice - something which will hold him in good stead as a leader in years to come.

The Round 11 Wimmera League Spirit of Netball Award went to Nhill 17 & Under player Mikala Deckert.

This award is given, not just for the best player on the day but also for a player who embodies attributes such as team work, leadership, fair play and good sportsmanship. Mikala was presented with the award before her second game for the day, as she is also part of the under 15 Nhill and was happily filling in to ensure that the 17s could compete. This willingness shows Mikala's commitment to the club and that she is happy to help out if she is needed.

On the court, Mikala is developing into a strong defender, with a great ability to read the play and take intercepts. Mikala has a strong passion for the game and embodies the traits of determination and commitment, always giving 100 per cent when she is on the court .

She plays in the spirit of the game, always showing respect to her teammates, opposition and umpires, conducting herself in a fantastic and admirable manner. Mikala is very deserving of this award and is a great asset to the club, with a bright netball future ahead.

The Round 10 winner Spirit of Netball Award went to Minyip Murtoa's Molly Fagan. Molly is a keen and talented netball player who is playing her second season with Minyip Murtoa. She is an integral part of the 17 & Under team, despite being just 14 years of age.

Molly is a quiet but effective team player. She leads by example during training and on game day. Molly is a versatile player, using her knowledge and skills to play most positions on the court.

In the 17 & Under team, Molly mainly plays as goal attack. Her strengths are in her ability to read the play, make strong attacking moves and intercept opposition passes.

This year, Molly has also represented the WNA in the 15 & Under team. She also plays at a senior level as a member of the Minyip Murtoa A Grade team.

Molly's positive attitude to netball and her natural ability make her a valuable member of the Minyip Murtoa Football and Netball Club.
