After their round 13 loss to Swifts, the Bombers now sit in seventh place, one win and significant percentage behind sixth.
A close end to 2019 might feel like deja-vu for Noradjuha-Quantong. They missed out on finals in 2018 on percentage, after a tough three-goal loss to Kalkee in the final round of the season.
One player who will be important to the Bombers finals aspirations this year is youngster Lucy Brand.
Brand, a lifelong Bombers player, has been superb this season, getting named in the best in eight of their last 10 matches.
Brand said the side was determined to make amends for last season's disappointing end.
"After missing out on the last spot in finals by percentage last year, we're all pretty hungry to make it," she said.
"It's all pretty even between those middle teams - we're really hoping we'll be able to just sneak in."
Brand, 19, has played predominantly at goal shooter this year, after spending most of her young career in goal attack.
While she doesn't quite have the height or size of some of the league's best goal shooters, Brand said she has found other ways to be just as damaging.
"I probably try to use my speed and positioning - just trying to get to that front spot and holding my position," she said.
"I'm loving it a lot more than goal attack. I guess I've always been a bit more of a holder than a runner, so I've been loving holding my position more."
Brand however said she hasn't enjoyed the added pressure.
"I definitely feel the pressure. Sometimes I think I would love to be out of the goals, it's so much pressure," Brand said.
"But you just have to hold it together and have faith in yourself.
"My accuracy probably hasn't been too bad this year - you have your good weeks and your bad weeks.
"I just try to take a breath before every shot, and just don't think about it too much."
Brand and the Bombers will need to be at their best at the weekend when they take on a much-improved Jeparit-Rainbow.
"It's going to be a tough one - we have to win," Brand said. "
They have proven themselves this year, and only lost to Natimuk by 10 goals last week. We have to come out firing."
In other contests, Kalkee face Edenhope-Apsley in an intriguing battle between the fourth and fifth placed sides.
Pimpinio take on Swifts, and Harrow-Balmoral play Rupanyup.
