The group received a grant from CVGT Horsham last week, worth $2000, to assist with the course.
Healthy Minds Horsham member Rob Walter said the grant would be used to "explore counter-intuitive possibilities" in the field of mental health.
He said modern, everyday stress was linked to depression, suicide and a wide spectrum of physical diseases.
"We started the group when (founder) Gavin Morrow responded to a spate of suicides by young Warracknabeal and district men," he said.
"Despite the best efforts and good intentions of professionals, the community was not coping."
CVGT manager Justin Beugellar said the initiative would benefit residents.
"It will especially help the farmers in the region. People will not have to travel to cities to access such services," he said.
