Six properties were on offer for the in-house auction, with one house sold prior to the auction and two in negotiations.
Director Aaron Lewis said in-house auctions were common at other regional Ray White offices.
"It started in the city where the in-house auctions were suited to selling apartments. They then became popular in Bendigo and Ballarat," he said.
"It's something different for our market and is results driven. We need to change the way people think in regional towns when it comes to selling."
He said people had the chance to place offers before the auction as well as bid before the night.
"It gives the sellers an idea of what the market is saying and creates great exposure for the properties," he said.
The auction was called by Ray White chief auctioneer Matt Condon who travelled from Melbourne for the night. Mr Lewis said Mr Condon had called more than 3500 auctions.
"It was great to have his expertise to inspire our own sales staff," he said.
Mr Lewis said Ray White Horsham will host in-house auctions every three months, with the next in October.
