While one round remains in the Wimmera league, there are no results that could alter the first round fixture.
Minyip-Murtoa have claimed the minor premiership, Ararat and the Southern Mallee Giants have solidified the double-chance in second and third, and the Stawell Warriors and the Horsham Saints will finish either fifth or sixth.
The Giants had to break their hoodoo against the Saints on Saturday to guarantee themselves a top-three position. The Saints had prevailed in each of their previous three encounters, but the Giants turned the tables this time around in a thriller, claiming an 8.11 (59) to 7.14 (56) victory.
"It was good to get that monkey off our back," Giants president Brad Moore said.
"We've got the bye now next week ... we've started to get some players back (from injury), and the bye is probably at the perfect time for us."
The Giants have gone 7-1 since their bye in round nine, with a one-point loss to Minyip-Murtoa their only blemish.
Coach Coleman Schache said it had been a pleasing second half of the season, but his side still had some improving to do.
"The Saints were probably leading for the majority of the day (on Saturday), and we kicked the last goal in the final few minutes," he said.
"It would be nice to play a bit more consistent footy, but it's good to be getting results.
"Having the double chance gives us the best opportunity to go as far as we can in finals."
Meanwhile, there was some shuffling between third and sixth on the Horsham District football league ladder at the weekend.
Natimuk United's victory against Kalkee kept them in third position, while Noradjuha-Quantong leapfrogged Jeparit-Rainbow and Swifts into fourth.
Jeparit-Rainbow finished in sixth and will take on Natimuk United in a replay of the 2018 elimination final.
Noradjuha-Quantong meanwhile will play their first senior football final since 2011 against Swifts.
In the A Grade netball, Harrow-Balmoral and Kalkee will face off on Saturday, while Edenhope-Apsley and Swifts face on Sunday.
There is still some potential movement with one round remaining in the Wimmera Netball Association.
