Terang horsewoman Matty Craven (34pts) currently heads Horsham's Leading Driver Award but doesn't have a runner this afternoon, leaving the stable door open for Stawell trainer Owen Martin (28) to snatch a last-stride victory with his two starters Marjorie Jean and Ideal TJ.
Champion Great Western reinswoman Kerryn Manning (56 pts) has drives in six of the seven events on the card and should further extend the margin over her nearest rival Jackie Barker (33) to capture yet another Horsham Leading Driver Award.
Leading contender for the Horse Of The Year Award, Marjorie Jean (13 pts) has posted three victories and a third from six starts on the Horsham circuit this season and has a great chance again today, drawn the pole with Jackie Barker to drive.
Consistent Balmoral mare Keepthedream (9 pts), remarkably, will have her eighth Horsham outing for the season for owner-trainer Janet Exell. The rising 10-year-old chestnut has the opportunity to add further to her win, second, three thirds and two fourths in race 5 with concession driver Kyal Costello in the sulky.
It will be race to the wire to decide Horsham's Concession Driver Award with Jackie Barker (33pts) holding the narrowest of leads over James Herbertson (32pts). Both have been in winning form of late and are set for a busy afternoon with Jackie engaged for drives in six events and James in five.
The always-hotly-contested Local Trainer Strike Rate Award looks a two way battle between Barry Dunn (three starters today) and Janet Exell.
