Minyip-Murtoa enters Saturday's grand final searching for the amalgamated club's first senior premiership in 21 years.
Standing in the Burras way, however, are the Southern Mallee Giants.
The club hasn't missed finals since Beulah and Hopetoun settled their differences and came together as the Giants in 2014.
After conquering the Horsham District league in 2016 and 2017, the Giants have yet to taste the same success in the Wimmera league.
That can all change on Saturday afternoon.
"The boys are excited. They're raring to go. Trainings have had plenty of excitement there, and we deserve the opportunity to have a crack at it (premiership)," Giants coach Coleman Schache said.
The Burras enter the contest with history in their favour and an undefeated home and away season behind them.
Minyip-Murtoa has walked away victorious four out of the five times the two sides have met.
"They're all raring to go. It will be a big challenge this weekend, but everyone is looking forward to it," Burras coach John Delahunty said.
"We're undefeated, things have been going along pretty well throughout the year, and we've got a full list to choose from. So we're in a pretty good position. It will be exciting."
"(It will be) another physical encounter against them. They've got some really quality players across all lines. We've had three really good clashes against them (this season). We are going in with quite a lot of confidence, but we know we can't be complacent," Delahunty said.
Schache was confident his side would be up for the contest.
"We'll have to look at a few things about how we go about it, he said. "But we're excited, and we believe we can get the job done."
