Betty Cozens and Tom Clancy received badges in front of 50 club members. Super Veteran Badges are awarded to Bowls Victoria affiliated bowlers reaching the age of 80.
Betty Cozens started bowling at Brim in 1993 and retired to Horsham and joined Horsham City Bowling Club.
Betty is one of the leading bowlers in the Wimmera area having won a total of 72 championship titles events at club, association and state level.
Betty has played in five winning pennant finals, been Ladies Club President and is currently Horsham City Club Secretary.
Tom Clancy started bowling in Hopetoun in 1989 and transferred to Horsham City on his retirement in 2011.
Tom has played an a Horsham City Premiership side and was a member of a winning Wimmera Division State Triples side.
President Stewart Landwehr said the both Betty and Tom were valued members of the Club and looked forward to seeing them on the bowling green for many years to come.
The club held its five a side Ladies Medley Tournament on Thursday with 70 players competing.
Winners on the day were a Horsham Sunnyside/City team of Mavis Janetzki, John Brown, Bob Dolan, Hedi Holtkamp and Larraine Palmer.
Runners up for the day was a Horsham Sunnyside team of Norma Hair, Elaine McFarlane, Jill Coutts, Jan Pearson and Julie Savage.
