Now the Canberra-born rap duo Coda Conduct - otherwise known as Sally Coleman and Erica Mallett - have been announced as the next hosts for Triple J's Breakfast show in 2020.
Known as Sally & Erica, the pair have been radio fixtures since hosting FBi Radio's hip hop show, and later a weekly hip hop segment on triple j Breakfast with Matt & Alex.
They've since become Triple J regulars, but their very first appearance on the station was back in 2015, when Coda Conduct were selected as Unearthed Feature Artists.
The pair grew up in the same postcode, in Hughes and Garran, and went to the same school, but they were a year apart and didn't meet properly until they went travelling with friends in India.
It was there that they decided to form Coda Conduct; they've since performed at Groovin the Moo, Spilt Milk, Listen Out and Splendour in the Grass.
They also, controversially for some listeners, gave Queanbeyan a dig in a rap, Is It A Quanger, as part of the weather forecast on Triple J in 2015.
"Queanbeyan! What a wannabe! Copied our forecast, got it free. But it's not a shock, cos you're basically... just part of the ACT," ran the most offending line.
