The corner of Lochiel and Llyod streets will be a hive of festivities with performances and pageants.
Dimboola Town Committee president Kaylene Pietsch said the event would feature Christmas songs and other music from local band Key Change, as well as singing from Voices of the Wimmera.
"There will be face painting, a sausage sizzle, raffles from the Lions and Rotary, and Santa will arrive at 11.30am," she said.
Mrs Pietsch said Lloyd Street had been transformed ahead of the party with lots of businesses and houses competing for the best decorated store and house.
"The businesses will all be open and the theatre will have a garage sale happening inside," she said.
Mrs Pietsch said there would also be a best decorated pushbike category, best decorated gopher cart and best decorated pram.
She said the event was something different for the town which usually held a bigger evening event in the Dimboola Soundshell.
"It's been a really big year for us," she said.
Mrs Pietsch said the influx of events in the last few months, such as hosting the 2019 Tidy Town Awards and rowing regattas, had revitalised Dimboola.
"There is more of a positive attitude in town these days," she said. "The work of the town committee is ongoing but what seems to be poignant is people are catching on to the fact we all need to work together for the betterment of the community."
Dimboola won the Keep Victoria Beautiful's Tidy Town of the Year award in 2018.
While Dimboola was a finalist for Tidy Town of the Year in 2019, the Dimboola Town Committee won the Community Action and Leadership award for a town with a population below 3000 for its work in engaging the community.
Dimboola Town Committee secretary Jo Donnelly said businesses such as Dimboola Store and Dimboola Imaginarium had brought a "good vibe" to the town.
"There's lots of people travelling through and Dimboola is sparking their attention," she said.
"There has been good economic activity too. It has been a breath of fresh air."
