The Horsham Falcons won the association's division two premiership in 2018, but did not field a side last year due to a lack of playing numbers.
The side will be coached by long-time player and league best and fairest James Hibberd. It will be Hibberd's first time in a coaching role.
Hibberd said he was happy to give back to a club that had given so much to him.
"I've got a bit of passion for the club - I've been in Horsham for about six years now, and the Falcons soccer club has really helped me develop as a person and get involved in the community," Hibberd said.
"Recreational sport is of course a very pleasant way to get involved in the community and meet people.
"There are lots of ecstatic people around at the moment really looking forward to getting some senior soccer back at the Falcons.
"I'm willing to help out the club however I can, help attract new players and push toward positive things."
Hibberd said pre-season training would start on Wednesday, February 5, at the Horsham racecourse.
He encouraged anybody interested to come to training and give the sport a try.
"As interest grows toward the start of the season, hopefully more people will join and see the attraction of soccer," Hibberd said.
"This year we've been informed we will have a division one side, so that will provide challenges in itself, but the main thing is getting numbers and presenting some nice football."
In addition to the senior side, the club also announced its junior coaches.
Rob Moir will coach the under-13s and under-12s, with Miles Norton also co-coaching the under-12s. Neil O'Connor will coach the Mini Roos junior side, and the club is still searing for an under-16s coach.
Horsham and District Soccer Club president Jo-Anne Bates said while it was positive early signs, the club was still looking for players at almost every level.
"It is exciting - it's great to have players wanting to come back, and to see the junior sides coming through," Ms Bates said.
"They are the future of our club.
"However we do certainly need a few more players to ensure that we've got enough.
"We're hoping to have more players for the senior team, the under-15s and under-16s."
Ms Bates also asked for more volunteer support from any interested parties.
"All clubs can't exist unless they have volunteers, and that's certainly something we need to keep the club going," she said. "It would be great to get some parents or players happy to help."
