Horsham's Nekaela Butler and Ararat's Ella Wood triumphed with Richmond against fellow league newcomer the West Coast Eagles.
Wood was stationed in a star-studded midfield and impressed in the Tigers' 7.9 (51) to 3.5 (23) win.
The new Tigers will now go back to the track, before opening the 2020 AFLW season against Carlton at Ikon Park next Friday.
Horsham pair Rene Caris and Sophie Alexander weren't as fortunate in their final practice matches.
Caris' Geelong suffered a 12-point loss to the Western Bulldogs. The former Horsham Saint is expected to shoulder a bigger workload this season after the Cats' first-choice ruck departed the league.
Alexander - who is in her second season with Collingwood - impressed in the Pies' 14-point loss to Melbourne, before she was forced from the field after suffering a cut above her eye.
