End of the Line features Australian musicians Brian Mannix Nick Barker, Bernard Curry, JR Reyne and Scott Darlow and was premiered in Geelong on February 8.
It arrives in Bendigo this weekend before heading to Horsham on February 21.
Brian Mannix said it was a good chance to see some classic songs play live.
"These songs never got played live (in concert) by the band, so it is good to see them (played live) and know it would have been a great concert," he said.
"I like the Wilburys - they're a great band with great songs - and I like new challenges. That's what this is. It's something a bit different
"The first night, we were pretty nervous and all wondering how it was going to go but we got a standing ovation and it went down really well.
"The big singles like Handle With Care always go down well but I personally like singing Tweeter and the Monkey Man."
The Traveling Wilburys was made up of superstar musicians Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne. The group is considered the best supergroup of all time.
Mannix said their love of music, as well as with their obvious star power, made them popular.
"They were just friends who were having fun," he said.
"They were making music for fun rather than for the sake of it. Music is always at its best if you just enjoy yourself. If it's a chore, it's not that good.

"Unfortunately, Roy Orbison died before they could do a concert. This show gives you that concert."
Horsham holds good memories for Mannix who filmed four episodes of Flying Doctors in the area during the 1980s.
"I normally stop there on the way to Adelaide. I'm keen to get back," he said.
"Hopefully people can come down and listen to some great songs they may never have heard live."
End of the Line is on at Ulumbarra Theatre in Bendigo on February 14 and Horsham Town Hall on February 21.
