EMERGENCY services have rescued a 51-year-old male from the Wondlerland Track in the Grampians after he had a medical episode Thursday afternoon.

The man was between five and seven hundred metres from the Wonderland carpark when he called emergency services, Stawell State Emergency Service controller Brody Stewart said.
The man was able to assist emergency personnel by providing the emergency marker number nearest to him.
SES members stretchered him out to a waiting ambulance and he was then conveyed to hospital.
