Horsham Saints star Maggie Caris will play her first game as captain, joining Stawell's Crystal Summers and Ararat's Isabella Simmons in the team.
The Rebels line up with seven debutants against Sandringham Dragons aiming to improve on their two wins of last year.
Four of the debutants are from Ballarat clubs - Tahlia Meier (Lake Wendouree), Zoe Cowan (North Ballarat), Isabella Hill (North Ballarat) and Olivia Leonard (Ballarat Swans), who is the sister of new Rebels captain Chloe Leonard.
Paige Scott (Carisbrook), Stella Bridgewater (South Warrnambool) and Katelyn Hazlett (Bendigo Thunder) will also be making their first appearances.
Emergencies Charlotte Hopkins (East Point) and Claire Booth (Lake Wendouree) are other newcomers.
