This weekend's On The Brink Festival will go ahead online as a series of live-streamed performances.
The festival, in its inaugural year, was originally scheduled on a Trust For Nature property in St Helens Plains this Easter Saturday, but was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Event organiser Claudia Haenel said she still wanted to deliver something, so arranged eight musicians to perform live sets via the festival's Facebook page.
After living on her 75-acre Trust For Nature conservation property for two years, Ms Haenel said she wanted to do something to help native wildlife facing extinction.
"The property has great environmental and cultural significance," she said.
"It seemed appropriate to have a festival here to raise money for wildlife facing extinction."
The property, which backs onto the Wimmera River, used to have a koala population which has since disappeared and Ms Haenal's most ambitious goal is to revive the population on the area.
The festival was designed to raise money for Wildlife Victoria, an organisation that helps and protects wildlife through rescue, education, and advocacy activities.
The online festival on Saturday will start with a telling of local Indigenous stories before musicians kick off from 11am.
"In the current circumstances you just have to adapt and be flexible and make it fit. This is the best we're able to deliver," Ms Haenel said.
"We have to think creatively and adapt to circumstances."
