
POLICE have charged a man over the death of Ray Meadows, a 63-year-old Wedderburn resident who was struck by a car last year.
A 22-year-old Bridgewater man has been remanded to face the Shepparton Magistrates Court on Monday.
He is charged with dangerous driving causing death, destruction of evidence, pervert the course of justice and threats to kill.
Mr Meadows and his guide dog Gerry were struck by a car on June 2 last year as they walked along the Calder Highway.
The charges are part of an investigation by the Major Collisions Investigation Unit.
