Police are appealing for public assistance following an assault at a music festival in Mafeking, near Ararat, in March.

Investigators have been told the victim was near stage one at the Pitch Music and Arts Festival when he had an argument with a man about 5am on Monday, March 9.
The victim, a 24-year-old Hawthorn East man, was struck in the face with a glass bottle and sustained serious injuries which required reconstructive surgery.
The offender is described as male in his mid-to-late 20s. He is described as 173 centimetres tall with a slim build, olive complexion, a large gap in the bottom of his teeth, possibly missing a tooth, was unshaven and had short dark hair.
He is believed to be of French descent and spoke with a European accent. He was wearing an orange bucket hat at the time of the offence.
Investigators have released a composite image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries and images of the victims injuries.
