Wimmera residents could be forgiven for wanting to stay in bed this morning, with a string of cool temperatures recorded across the region.

Morning fog blanketed most of Victoria as a ridge of high pressure sat above most of the state.
Horsham, Stawell, Warracknabeal and Longerenong all recorded overnight lows of less than six degrees celsius, and were still below 10°C at 9am.
Horsham recorded an overnight low of 5.4°C at 2.57am, while Stawell recorded a similar low of 5.5°C at 8am.
Warracknabeal dropped to 5.9°C before 10pm, while Longerenong recorded the lowest overnight temperature in the Wimmera, a chilly 5.2°C at 7.19am.
Residents can look forward to a forecast maximum temperature of 15°C, with a 30 per cent chance of rain in the evening.
Unfortunately, the cold starts to the day will be the norm, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting morning fog until Sunday.
