WARRACKNABEAL Police have confirmed there has been a burglary in the town overnight.
Senior Constable Charlene Baldock said it happened sometime during the night at Warracknabeal Automotive Electrical on Lyle Street.
She said Engel fridges and CB radios were among the items stolen, and police believed non-locals carried out the burglary.
"They have gained entry via the front door and over $12,000 of stock was stolen," she said. "We presume there is more than one offender."
"If residents have any information in relation to suspicious vehicles in the area from midnight to 5am on Friday, call police on 5396 2100."
"We do believe it's possibly connected to robberies at Stawell, Donald and Swan Hill at similar establishments in the last few weeks."
Meanwhile, Swan Hill Senior Sergeant Tanya Brooks has confirmed a motor vehicle was stolen from Donald overnight, and Detective Joel Page was conducting initial inquiries.
More to come.
