Horsham resident Mel Morrison is wondering when she will be able to next visit her parents after tighter South Australia border restrictions came into force.
Mrs Morrison said she hasn't seen her parents who live in Kingston, South Australia for five months.
"It was my daughter's birthday Wednesday and it was the first time in 10 years they weren't here for it," Mrs Morrison said.
"The kids really miss their nanny and poppy. We do Facetime with them but it's not the same."

Mrs Morrison said the border closures and COVID-19 restrictions have been especially tough for the elderly community.
"My parents have only lived in South Australia for four years and they don't know a lot of people in the area," Mrs Morrison said.
"They are away from everyone, including myself and my brother.
"It has been really hard on my mum. We have been trying to teach her how to do facetime.
"As soon as the border restrictions are lifted we will go over and visit them."
