Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Co-perative is hosting a virtual walk/run Friday to Sunday for National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee week. You can start the 5km or 10km courses anytime from the war memorial in Sawyer Park to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Their are selfie frames set up at the war memorial in Sawyer Park and Weir Park.

Arapiles Big Sky Bicycle Trail
Walk or ride along the scenic Arapiles Big Sky Bicycle Trail - a 33km off-road recreational trail looping through Natimuk Lake, Mitre Lake, Mitre Rock and Mt Arapiles. The Arapiles Big Sky trail can be completed as a loop or in smaller sections, and is best travelled with a mountain bike. Enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding areas stretching from the Little Desert National Park in the north to the Grampians in the east.
Where: The Arapiles Bike Trail starts near Natimuk's central parking area opposite the National Hotel near the skate park.

Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre
The Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre showcases the history of aviation in Nhill and remembers over twelve thousand young Australians who trained at the Nhill Air Base during WWII. The main feature of the Nhill aviation heritage Centre is an Avro Anson aircraft. Entry fee is $5, with children and members free .

Kaniva Wetlands and Fauna Park
The fauna park is newly upgraded and features a nature-based play space, walking tracks and a picnic area. The park is right near the start of walking tracks around the fauna park and the adjacent wetlands. The walk takes approximately 40 minutes as a round trip from the information centre. The fauna park contains kangaroos, wallabies, emu, deer, guinea fowl and peacocks.

Hamilton Gallery has a huge number of artworks including glass, silver, oriental ceramic, porcelain, furniture, prints and paintings. Apart from the regional collections, the gallery also has a number of European paintings, Korean decorative art as well as Chinese and Japanese fine art. There is also a new gift shop and kids space.
