POLICE say they have identified, but are yet to arrest, a driver who rammed another car at a checkpoint on the Western Highway on Friday evening.

The incident happened at 5.30pm where a car was struck twice at the Hopetoun Road checkpoint just east of Bacchus Marsh.
Police confirmed they were still looking for a male driver.
"A driver in the checking lane on the Western Highway had a minor collision with the vehicle in front," a police spokesperson said.
"He was asked for his license before reversing his vehicle and driving forward again, striking a vehicle in front and leaving the scene.
"No one was injured during the incident and the driver has been identified, but is yet to be located at this stage and the investigation is ongoing."
