532 is the most cases recorded in a 24-hour period in Victoria. It brings the total to 77 deaths from the coronavirus.
Victorian Premier Dan Andrews described it as an "unacceptably high level of cases".
There are no active cases in the Northern Grampians or Ararat.
Updated active cases will be released this afternoon.
