Creek's South East Melbourne Phoenix and crosstown rival Melbourne United were sent into lockdown last week after two United players tested positive for coronavirus.
Since then, the NBL has confirmed 12 Melbourne United players have tested positive for COVID-19.
A mix of contracted players and uncontracted training partners had been training with Melbourne United - in line with strict hygiene and distance protocols - at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
Creek and the Phoenix train at the State Basketball Centre and have not reported any positive tests, but all players and staff were told to stop training as a precaution.
It's not believed anyone was training with both clubs in recent weeks.

NBL commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said the league would support its Melbourne-based players.
"Our primary concern is the health and welfare of our players, staff and their families," he said.
"This is a challenging time for everyone concerned and we are working closely with the clubs and the Australian Basketball Players' Association to provide support for all those affected.
"We are also working closely with the Department of Health and Human Services to manage the outbreak and limit any risk to the wider community."
It's not known how new stage four restrictions will affect a return to training.
The 2021 NBL season has already been delayed to early December.
