FRIDAY and TUESDAY are shaping up to be the best days for rain in the Wimmera in the next week, but it will be hit and miss, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
Duty forecaster Christie Johnson said there would be rain in the region pretty much every day for the next week, with seven-day totals of between 10 and 30 millimetres.
"Sunday looks like the least likely day for rain. On Friday we are looking at one to five millimeters, but there is the potential for storms tomorrow so we could see isolated higher falls," she said.
"There is another front coming late on Monday, and we are looking in the region of two to eight millimetres on Tuesday, and up to 15 if there are thunderstorms."

Ms Johnson said the rain would start to head south by Thursday August 20.
She said there was a good chance of a wetter-than-average rainfall for spring in the Wimmera, based on the bureau's Spring Climate Outlook.
The bureau is predicting seven to 25 millimetres for Horsham between Friday and Thursday, between four and 22 for Warracknabeal, between six and 22 for Nhill, between eight and 30 for Edenhope, and between eight and 29 for Stawell.
