Horsham trainer Paul Preusker could be in line for another accolade, with his star seven-year-old Rupture nominated for Country Racing Victoria's horse of the year award.

Rupture is part of a field of three nominees, selected by a panel of 66 country racing clubs.
Preusker's award hopeful faces stiff competition from Great Western Cup winner Street Sheik, trained by Patrick Payne, and Ciaron Maher-trained Reserve Street.
In the 2019-20 season Rupture won six races of 11 starts including the Warracknabeal Cup, Werribee Cup and Hamilton Cup, though looks unlikely to ever take to the track again.
Rupture suffered a serious supersensory injury during a run at Flemington in May and is still recovering.
Preusker thanked Rupture's owners for being dedicated to his recovery, if not as a racehorse then for his life after racing.
