Federation University has confirmed it will phase out its Bachelor of Social Sciences, which is delivered at Horsham among its other campuses.
Dean of Arts Professor Andrew Hope said a recent review demonstrated that the course did not meet local demand.
"Unfortunately there were no commencing students in 2020," he said.
"We are phasing out this program, and will concentrate on the programs that meet skills and job needs for Horsham.

"All current students will be fully supported to complete their degree, or if they prefer, transfer to another program in the School of Arts such as the Bachelor of Arts (not delivered at Horsham), with credit for courses already completed.
"Horsham remains central to Federation University Australia's strategy and it is critical that we respond quickly to skills and jobs needs of the local region."
It means there will be no undergraduate degrees delivered out of the institution's Horsham campus from next year.
In August, the Wimmera campus' head Associate, Professor Geoff Lord, said Federation TAFE intended to offer ten post-secondary courses in Horsham in 2021:
- General Education for Adults
- Horticulture
- Automotive (Apprentices)
- Early Childhood Education and Care
- Individual Support (Health)
- Community Services
- Accounting and Bookkeeping
- Nursing (Division 2)
- Electrotechnology (Career Start)
- Electrotechnology (Apprentices)
