A Stawell woman will appear in court in 2021 for a number of charges following a late-night drive last week.
Acting Sergeant Shane Pettingill of the Stawell police station said the local woman was intercepted just after 2am on Wednesday night.
"At approximately 2.15am, the Stawell Divisional Van intercepted a vehicle on Longfield St Stawell," Act Sgt Pettingill said.
"The 44-year-old female driver from Stawell initially stated a false name to police. (However) police ascertained her correct details revealing the driver held a disqualified drivers licence."
Act Sgt Pettingill said the vehicle was impounded at a cost of $1315.
"The female was released pending court at a later date in relation to disqualified driving and state false name," Act Sgt Pettingill concluded.
