"Be vigilant" was the warning from Stawell CFA officer-in-charge Mal Nicholson on Tuesday afternoon as volunteers put out a second blaze in 24-hours.
Four crews and more than a dozen volunteers were called out to a bushfire on Bunjils Cave Rd in Black Range, just outside of Stawell, just after 3pm.

"We were able to control the fire quickly," Mr Nicholson said. "If it was a month later I don't think we would have been so lucky."
As temperatures reached 32°C and above 35°C in some parts of the Wimmera, the officer-in-charge said home owners should prepare their homes for the summer bushfire.
"Get rid fuel, such as grass and wood, around your property sooner rather than later," he said.
The news comes as a fire destroyed a bungalow in Stawell on Monday night.
