An advice message was issued for Dimboola, Duchembegarra, Gerang Gerung, Little Desert, Natimuk, Pimpinio, Vectis, Wail.
There are two bushfires in the Little Desert National Park that are not yet under control.
Fire activity on the Desert Discovery Walk fire has eased this evening, but residents are urged to remain vigilant. Fire crews will remain in the area throughout the night, to help stop the spread of the fire. This fire has burnt approx. 2023 ha
The Pump track fire has burnt approx. 1493 ha. Favourable weather conditions this evening, will allow fire crews to build containment lines around the fire edge.
There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
UPDATE - Monday, 4.20pm:
A watch and act message is being issued for Dimboola, Little Desert, Wail.
There is a bushfire at Little Desert National Park that is not yet under control.
The bushfire is in the Little Desert National Park and is travelling towards Horse Shoe bend in a north easterly direction. Residents in Horse Shoe Bend Road, Stringy bark Road, Pine Avenue, Banksia Court, Golf Course Road, Bushby Lane and Old Racecourse Road should be on high alert.
Don't wait, leaving now is the safest option - conditions may change and get worse very quickly. Emergency Services may not be able to help you if you decide to stay.
What you should do:
- Monitor changes to the situation. Increased wind speed, change in wind direction, smoke or poor visibility can indicate the situation is changing.
- If you are away from home, do not return.
If the situation changes or you feel unsafe you should leave:
- Take your pets, medications, mobile phone and charger.
- Travel to the home of family or friends that are away from the warning area or Horsham.
Emergency Services may not be able to help you if you decide to stay.

Dimboola, Gerang Gerung and Little Desert have been issued the following advice warning, as the bushfires in the Little Desert National Park started travelling in a northerly direction.
The bushfires are not yet under control.
Vic Emergency said there was currently no threat to you, but you should plan for what you will do if the situation changes.
Residents should monitor warnings and act quickly if the situation changes.
UPDATE - 9pm: AN advice message was issued for for Dimboola, Pimpinio, Vectis and Wail.
There is a bushfire at Little Desert National Park which is travelling in a southerly direction.
There is currently no threat to communities, but residents should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
Firefighters are responding to the fire and bulldozers are operating in the area. Smoke may be visible from nearby roads and communities.
Residents should monitor warnings and so they can act quickly if the situation changes.
It was recommended if residents had time, to check neighbours to see if they were monitoring conditions.
UPDATE - 8.30pm: An updated watch and act warning replaces the earlier release.
A watch and act message is being issued for Duchembegarra, Little Desert.
There is a bushfire at Little Desert National Park that is not yet under control, travelling in a southerly direction.
A wind change is expected around 11pm, which may cause the fire to change directions towards the Wimmera River. Conditions can become very dangerous and unpredictable.
UPDATE - 8pm: FOREST FIRE MANAGEMENT VICTORIA has upgraded warnings to a 'watch and act' for the communities of Dimboola, Duchembegarra, Gerang Gerung, Grass Flat, Kiata, Little Desert, Nhill, Nurcoung, Pimpinio, Wail, Winiam East.

Residents were advised to Monitor changes to the situation. Increased wind speed, change in wind direction, smoke or poor visibility can indicate the situation is changing.
Forest Fire Management Victoria also recommends if residents are away from home, they do not return.

EARLIER - 6pm: VIC EMERGENCY has issued an advice warning as two small bush fires burn in the Eastern block of the Little Desert National Park and are not yet under control.
The advice message was issued for Dimboola, Duchembegarra, Gerang Gerung, Grass Flat, Kiata, Little Desert, Nhill, Nurcoung, Pimpinio, Wail, Winiam East.
There is currently no threat to communities, but residents should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
Vic Emergency said smoke would be visible from nearby roads and communities as firefighters and two fixed-wing aircraft are responding to the fires.
