The fire south-east of Beulah has been listed as under control.
There are now six emergency vehicles listed at the scene.
An updated advice message was issued for the area.
The message was issued for Bangerang, Beulah, Brim, Brim East, Galaquil East, Lah, Wilkur.
There is a grassfire approximately 12KM South East of Beulah that is now under control.
Firefighters will be on scene throughout the afternoon.
UPDATE - 4pm:
A fire which is spreading has alerted authorities to issue an advice warning for the Beulah area.
The advice message was issued for Bangerang, Beulah, Brim, Brim East, Galaquil East, Lah, Wilkur.
There is a grassfire approximately 12KM South East of Beulah that is not yet under control.
This grassfire is travelling from Galaquil East Road in a south-easterly direction towards Brim East.
There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed and monitor conditions.
What you should do:
- Keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.
- Review your fire survival plan.
- If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. Find information on protecting yourself and your family: www.cfa.vic.gov.au/plan-prepare/grassfires-rural/.
- If you have time, check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions.
Impacts in your area:
- Smoke will be visible from nearby roads and communities.
- Now is the time to charge your mobile phone. Pack a car phone charger or spare battery. You should check the batteries in your radio.

EARLIER - 3.30pm: EMERGENCY Services are on the scene of a fire, south-east of Beulah on Thursday afternoon.
Calls for assistance came through just after 3.30pm for the area of Galaquil East, Beulah.
There were 12 vehicles listed at the fire, which was deemed not yet under control.
The Wimmera Mail-Times had contact CFA district 17 and were awaiting response.
There was also a fire listed at Sheep Hills-Bangerang Road, Beulah and Lang Road, Wilkur.
