Nhill Golf Club will host an endurance golf marathon to raise funds for cancer research, prevention and support services.
Teeing off on December 13, participants can choose to register and play 36, 54 or 72 holes from dawn to dusk, as part of the Cancer Council's Longest Golf Day fundraiser.
Four Nhill golf members have registered to conquer the 72-hole challenge - Kim Croot, Shane Grover, Libby Lacey and Trevor Polkinghorne.

"I have wanted to participate for a number of years and thought I would give it a go this year," Mr Grover said.
"I am playing in honour of past members and to show support to their family and friends."
All funds raised as part of the day will be donated to the Cancer Council, which relies on the generosity of supporters to continue its work.
Friends and family are invited and encouraged to cheer along all golfers, with additional fundraising activities planned throughout the day.
"I am participating to recognise the 30th anniversary of dad passing and he played golf for years," Mr Croot said.
Donations can be made online at longestday.org.au and by searching Nhill Golf club or an individual participants' names, with the club aiming to raise at least $3000.
If you're interested in helping out or have fundraising ideas, contact Shane Grover on 0412 603 917.
