The lightweight hoop opened the day with a comfortable victory on board Simon Ryan-trained Fair Trade Express.
Yendall's next win would come for trainer Symon Wilde, guiding Stigwood to a 1.25L victory in race three.

The six-time group one winner didn't have to wait long for his next victory, triumphing on board Mick Price and Michael Kent-trained Spring Break in race four.
A second-place finish in race six was a handy lead-in to the penultimate race of the day, where Yendall bagged another win for Simon Ryan, this time on board five-year-old Steam Roller.
Tuesday's stellar showing took Yendall to seven wins from 14 starts at Hamilton this season.
"Obviously that's pretty good, a 50 per cent strike rate," he told racing.com after race seven.
"Trainers keep throwing me the right horses and no doubt I try to win on them."
MAKING NEWS ACROSS THE WIMMERA:
Yendall's wife Christine Puls was also in action at Hamilton, with her best result being a fourth-place finish with Noble Rocks in race eight.
"C Puls (will be driving home). Hopefully the Cavendish drive-through (bottle shop) is open," Yendall joked.
