WARRACKNABEAL Police were on site for a house fire on Anderson Street on Sunday evening.
A fire broke out at an abandoned house at about 11pm on January 10.
The Warracknabeal CFA crew arrived at about 10.50pm and had the fire contained by 11.45pm.
A command vehicle, pumper and tanker were on site to get the fire under control.
A spokesperson from the CFA said it was a structural fire.
Warracknabeal Police Acting Senior Sergeant Kylie Newell said the house would need to be pulled down and they are waiting for investigators.
"The house was engulfed and pretty much destroyed," she said.
It was an empty house and the fire is being treated as suspicious.
There were no injuries.
