At the picturesque rural campus, pupils read 'Elmer the Patchwork Elephant' and then made their own patchwork names.
Later in the day, the new classmates made drawings to inform others about their holidays, had an immersive counting scavenger hunt and made friendship buckets.
Friendship buckets are filled when someone is a good friend, rewarding well behaved and friendly pupils.
