Once a week, men in Warracknabeal and surrounds can come together for a night of circuit training and community.
And yes, you can bring your dog.
Active Farmer is a fun, friendly environment where men, and farmers, can come together, do a bit of active exercise to strengthen their bodies and mind. Group fitness classes will also form a social group for these men to get away from the farm for a while.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Farmers are so isolated now, it's basically them and their dogs," Mr Knorpp said.
"A couple of months ago I rang a friend who does Active Farmer in Bridgewater and from that I decided to launch it here."
The response was good from the first session, Mr Knorpp said it was more than he expected.
"We've had 17 different faces so far, which is huge," he said.
"Blokes are hopeless at putting their hand up and saying something is wrong, this way they can have a chat and a bit of exercise."
Mr Knorpp said the socialisation is a big part of Active Farmer but you don't have to keep up with anyone when doing the circuits.
He said the sense of community as well as an hour of moving can make a huge difference.
"If people socialise, that's going to help your headspace. If you're sitting at home by yourself, you just over think it," Mr Knorpp said.
"But if you get out and about and have a chat to a few people, you can change your thought process. Changing those negative thoughts to positive thoughts.
"Hopefully it gives people a purpose to come the following week, because they see the benefits of it.
"They can go home feeling good because they've had a bit of exercise and a chat."
