AUSTRALIA POST'S Great Australian Coin Hunt is back, with a Dadswells Bridge motel owner hoping the collectable coins bring much-needed patronage.
The Great Australian Coin Hunt features 26 collectable coins based on all the letters of the alphabet.
Each coin has a corresponding Australian icon, such as the letter "K" featuring a koala and the letter "A" featuring an Akubra.
Grampians Motel Hotel owner Noel Maslamoney said the Dadswells Bridge post office would be stocking the coins, which carry legal tender.
"Just a few months ago they started putting out this collection. It goes from A to Z and every coin has something big," he said.
"All legal tender, so you can spend it in a shop. They come and buy it from us in the shop. A dollar for a dollar coin."
Originally from South Africa, Mr Maslamoney and his wife Laura started ownership of the Grampians Motel Hotel 18-years-ago, after a chance stopover on the way back from Adelaide.
He said he was so impressed by the motel he offered to buy it from the owner.
"When we retired 18-years-ago we were looking for a BnB. We stopped here (Dadswells Bridge) for a beer on the way back from Adelaide and met the owner," he said.
"She showed us around, we made an offer and ended up buying the place.
"Tourism is what it is all about here. We are the gateway to Horsham."
Grampians Motel Hotel operates a café, restaurant and Australia Post agency.
The agency covers three regions, Dadswells Bridge, Glenorchy and Roses Gap.
Mr Maslamoney encouraged anyone interested in collecting the coins to visit Dadswells Bridge and stop by for a coffee or meal.
"I think it will be nice if people collect the coins, maybe for their children. If you left your grandchild or your kid that is it, it won't come back again," he said.
"We only have 20 in every pack - so only twenty people will be able to get a full set. Take the opportunity while you can.
"While they are getting a coin they can enjoy a nice meal and a coffee. Dadswells Bridge is a nice place."
