The Wimmera Mail-Times spoke to HDFNL chairman Fred Mellington who said the league had reached their decision after Wednesday night's meeting.
"We've decided that we'll be playing on the 19th of June rain hail or shine," Mellington said.
According to Mellington the games played on June 19 will be as per the round seven fixture.

"Playing everyone once is our priority," he said.
"We've swapped rounds from later in the season to complete that first round first."
"We will then lose round 16, at this stage we're still trying to maintain the integrity of our draw dates which would mean for the finals to remain where they are in those weeks then we delete round 16.
From 11.59pm tonight (June 10) restrictions in regional Victoria are set to ease to allow all community sport to continue, with up to 150 spectators in attendance.
MORE NEWS:
Mellington hoped these restrictions are eased further by the time the league returns on June 19.
"We'll get going in some way shape or form and we're taking a gamble that numbers are going to increase and that they'll increase again as we go," he said.
Unlike the WFNL, the HDFNL decided against returning to action over the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend, with Mellington citing earlier in the week that restricted spectator numbers were the main reason behind the decision.
"As we are still in the grip of complete uncertainty, we have decided in the interests of fairness to all regarding catering, rostering and possible long weekend commitments to abandon trying to play this weekend," he said.
"The overriding reason for this decision is we absolutely don't believe crowd numbers allowed will be sufficient to justify playing."
Round seven HDFNL games:
- Edenhope-Apsley vs Kalkee
- Harrow-Balmoral vs Taylors Lake
- Jeparit-Rainbow vs Swifts
- Kaniva-Leeor United vs Pimpinio
- Natimuk United vs Laharum
- Noradjuha-Quantong vs Rupanyup
With Edenhope-Apsley, Harrow-Balmoral and Kaniva-Leeor inside the 70km South Australia border bubble, issues could arise when they play away games outside of the bubble, if the bubble isn't extended or removed.
That however shouldn't affect clubs in round seven as they are all scheduled to play home games.
Problems could also occur for HDFNL players when they return if the Melbourne travel ban to regional Victoria isn't lifted.
A number of HDFNL sides have players that travel from Melbourne, as well as other areas outside regional Victoria.
