West Wimmera Health Service created the Hindmarsh Day Stay program in partnership with Tweedle Child and Family Health Service.
The program will be hosted at the Nhill Early Years Learning Centre and will be available to families across the Wimmera.
Maternal and Child Health Nurses will oversee the day-long program, covering common parental challenges such as; settling and sleep, breast or formula feeding, and child nutrition.
West Wimmera Health Service Maternal and Child Health nurse Mandy Stephan said she was "thrilled" to see the program begin after much research and development.

"This program will provide much needed support for many families in the Wimmera," she said.
"There can be a great deal of overwhelm for people as they try to navigate raising their children, and it can feel very isolating at times. This new program is here to let parents know that they don't have to do it alone."
Tweedle Child and Family Health Service Jacquie O'Brien said she was excited about the new program.
"The Hindmarsh Day Stay Program is about ensuring regional families get accessible, high quality support for their babies, toddlers and preschoolers," she said.
"We know that the new program will serve parents in the West Wimmera region well, and will help babies and their families to thrive in the crucial early months and years of life."
