The Panthers were without a number of their star players for the clash, however, nothing should be taken away from what was a clinical performance from the Bombers.
Both teams came out of the blocks strong and up until halftime the match was evenly poised at 27 to 12 in the Bombers' favour.
The Bombers, however, kicked into another gear after the main break, putting a sizeable lead (44-points at the last break) on the Panthers, who despite some late chances for goal were left too much to do.

Thomas Magee kicked four goals for the home side while Jason Kerr was named their best.
For the Panthers Blake Turner scored three goals while midfielder Elliott Kelly was at his reliable best.
Bombers' coach Gareth Hose spoke to The Mail-Times after the match and was very happy with his team's performance.
"It's obviously good to get over a team that's been in really good form," Hose said.
"They did have a fair few of their recruits from up North out but we're still pleased with how we played and to get the win's really pleasing."
Hose said the win will give the side a lot of confidence going forward into the rest of the season.

"We're just trying to tick them off each week, just trying to keep playing the way we want to play and obviously there's going to be more challenges as the year goes on."
Hose credited the win to his side's pressure around the footy and said it was the best it had been all year.
"We hunted the footy well, but then we were able to link up and run through the middle of the ground," he said.
"We actually started to use the footy really well, especially in that second and third quarter.
"There were times when we were slow and times when we were quick. I was really happy with that."
At home Jeparit-Rainbow had another good win, with a 29-point victory over the Swifts.
The Swifts were able to match the Storm for three quarters, however, it was the first quarter which they lost 18 to 1 which ultimately hurt them.
Peter Weir and Jay Kirwood were good up front with three goals each for the Storm, while Todd Matthews had a trio of his own goals for the Swifts.
The win ends the Swifts three-game winning streak and pushes the Storm back into the top four.
The reigning-premiers in Harrow Balmoral reminded everyone just how good they are, with a thumping 130-point win over Taylors Lake.
Michael Close and coach Nick Pekin had five and four goals apiece for the Roos and were named as the side's best two players.
Andrew Phelan kicked three goals for the Lakers.
Kalkee bounced back from their first loss in a big way defeating hosts Edenhope-Apsley by 112-points.
The goals were shared around for the Kees with Deek Roberts, Ben Lawson and Jordan Motton bagging four goals each.
Louis Papst starred for the Kees while Bernard Kealy was the Saints' best.
At home Natimuk in a rather inaccurate performance beat Laharum 99 to 33.
The Rams kicked 12 goals and 27 behinds, but it didn't matter in the end as the Demons could only muster four goals and nine behinds of their own.
Jarred Combe kicked five goals in a best afield performance for the Rams while Tom Crawford was good for the Demons.
In the remaining game, Pimpinio was able to notch their first victory for the season against Kaniva-Leeor.
The Tigers got home by 25-points in the end in a well-deserved victory for a team that has been fighting hard all season.
Chris Bryan kicked an impressive seven goals for the Cougars, while Dylan Baker had six for the Tigers.
