THE Wimmera Health Care Group-run vaccination clinic has received a "considerable supply" of the Pfizer vaccines, which a spokesperson said are available now.
"They are only being offered to people categorised as 1A or 1B which includes any health professional, aged care and home care workers looking after the aged or any disability care workers," they said.
This category also includes all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 16 to 49, NDIS participants aged 16 years and over, and unpaid and informal carers of NDIS participants of any age.
People aged 16-year-old and above with an underlying medical condition or significant disability are included, as well as critical and high-risk workers aged 16 and over, including defence, police, fire, emergency services and meat processing.
"Please make your booking for a first-round dose of Pfizer as soon as you can by phoning 5362 3423," the spokesperson said.
Pfizer vaccination is recommended for those ages below 60-years-old.
